COVID-19 Update:

We’re open and ready to care for your dental needs!  Your health and safety is our top priority. Our office follows infection control recommendations made by the Texas State Board of Dental Examiners (TSBE), American Dental Association (ADA), the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). We follow the activities of these agencies so that we are up-to-date on any new rulings or guidance that may be issued.

In addition to following standard universal health and hygiene protocols, we have added the following precautions:

  • Our office will communicate with you beforehand to ask some screening questions prior to scheduled appointments. Those similar questions will be asked again when you are in the office.
  • Patients will be asked to wait in the car at time of arrival and will be called in when we’re ready for you.  You also have the option to wait in the office with enforced social distancing.
  • Office entry will be limited scheduled appointments only. Therefore, we kindly ask that friends, parents/guardian, or family members wait in the car
  • A mask or face covering is required upon entry to the office.
  • Continuous sanitizing of the office including all high touch area such as door knobs, furniture, bathrooms and counter tops.
  • Hand sanitizer will be available in the reception area and throughout the office for you to use as needed.
  • You may notice that our waiting room will no longer offer magazines, children’s toys and so forth, since those items are difficult to clean and disinfect.
  • Appointments will be managed to allow greater time between patients and to reduce the number of patients in the reception area at any one time.
  • Individuals who wishes to go back into the treatment area, we kindly ask that you adhere to the office protocol which will include temperature check and wearing a mask or face covering.
  • Temperatures will be taken during check-in. Readings of 100.4 degrees or more will be reschedule for elective procedures.
  • To limit and reduce close contact, electronic documents can be sent via email prior to coming in. Informed consent and payments can also be collected prior to appointment or at the time of check-in.

We look forward to seeing you again and are happy to answer any questions you may have about the steps we take to keep you, and every patient, safe in our practice. To make an appointment, please call our office at (940) 497-6453 visit our website at https://www.daisy-dental.com/
